The newest addition is support for the DO (Data Objects API). It offers easy handling of the data objects for license control (e.g. counters, expiry date, or encryption keys).
It is also possible to bind the data object type "Binding to the local computer" to the software to a specific Android device.
By default, Android integration requires a network or Internet connection - the Android device then accesses a CRYPTO-BOX, which is located on a network computer.
For applications in which a local license query is necessary directly on the Android device (for example, if no network connection is available or desired for tablet or computer), MARX provides with a special library based on a customized version of libusb (Linux USB stack for Android).
To install and access the USB port on the Android device, a kernel with USB host mode support and root access is required.
The Android demo applications (for network and local access) are availiable to download from our download section on our website.
