Linux Package with Python Support

A new Smarx^®OS 4 Linux package for the CRYPTO-BOX®^® is available in our download area. An active support level option and MyMARX login are required for the download.

Updates in SmarxOS4Linux 1.22.1205:

• SmarxPython support for Linux with 3 samples for Python developers:

  • The "License" sample demonstrates software licensing by implementing just one function call into the code of your Python application.

  • The "CBIOS_DO" demonstrates basic CRYPTO-BOX API calls, such as accessing the internal memory and encryption functions, or using DataObjects for license management. This gives you direct access to most CRYPTO-BOX functions within Python.

  • "PyProtect" sample for code encryption.

  • The package contains libraries for Python 3.8/3.9 on Debian x86_64 based distros, support for other platforms and/or Python versions is available on request

• Updated API libraries:
  • Libraries (libcbios and libSmarxCPP) with latest CBIOS updates and stability fixes
