CRYPTO-BOX® Driver and Core Isolation / Memory Integrity under Windows

Core Isolation and Memory Integrity are security mechanism in Windows 11 and Windows 10. They isolate system processes from the operating system and the hardware to protect the integrity of the operating system against malicious code and attacks.


The CRYPTO-BOX driver has been compatible with this feature for several years. But if you have installed an older CRYPTO-BOX driver, for instance when the driver was bundled with an older software version, Windows may complain about incompatible drivers. 

How to solve the problem:

1. If you are an end user:

  • Install the latest CRYPTO-BOX drivers with CBUSetup. CBUSetup can be obtained from the download area.
  • If an outdated CRYPTO-BOX driver was delivered together with the protected software and there are problems during the installation, contact the software vendor for an update
