Or do you want to use an ARM based mini computer for local or network licensing, including hosting of network licenses for other PCs, IoT or mobile devices in the same network ? All this regardless of the operating system (Windows, Linux, macOS) and hardware platform (x86/ARM)? We have you covered and the best part is: Only one CRYPTO-BOX® per network is required!

The new SmarxOS4Linux package now contains not only support for amd64/i386, but also for ARMv7 (tested with Raspian Linux on Raspberry Pi 3/4) and ARMv8 64bit platforms. It is available in MARX download area. An active support level option and MyMARX login are required for the download.

Remark: The CRYPTO-BOX Network Server is available as free download for all supported platforms.

SmarxAPI - quick and easy CRYPTO-BOX implementation under Linux

You are looking for an easy, yet flexible implementation of software licensing for Linux platforms? Please have a look at our SmarxAPI samples:

  • The AC API/SmarxAPI samples demonstrate software licensing by implementing just one function call into the source code of your application.
  • The SmarxCbiosCppSample offers an Object Oriented Implementation for C++ (Visual Studio) developers under Linux with more functionality than the AC API/SmarxAPI.

Refer to the readme files in the corresponding sample folders for more details: /api/samples/SmarxApi/. In this SmarxOS4Linux version 1.19.1021, an incompatibility with Ubuntu 18.04 was resolved.

For a detailed overview and an explanation on the differences of the available APIs, please take a look at the Implementation with API White Paper.

Please contact us if you have any question regarding the API implementation for the CRYPTO-BOX.
