CRYPTO-BOX Hardware Upgrade

We are pleased to offer a revised CRYPTO-BOX, which contains many improvements. For this upgrade, we took feedback and requests from you, our valued customers, into account.

The new CRYPTO-BOX Rev. 2 is fully backward compatible with your existing applications. It works smoothly with previous CRYPTO-BOX drivers and libraries - regardless whether you are using Smarx OS or the legacy MPI system.

Let's shed some light on these trailblazing improvements:

• EAL 4+ certified chip for maximum security and compliance with industry standards
• Support for RSA encryption on hardware level (CRYPTO-BOX SC model)
• Increased hardware performance for XS and Versa models: about 8-10x faster for read/write access to the internal memory
• Improved USB connector, for added ESD protection
• Free space on the backside of the case (optional, replacing the "marx.com" logo) - ideal for 3D logo stickers or laser engraving
• The casing is 3mm shorter and 1mm thinner, of course in our award-winning iron clad designer case
• The LED power indicator is on the front side
