CBIOS4NETSetup - Automatic installation of required CRYPTO-BOX components for .NET applications

with CBIOS4NET libraries we offer C#-developers a modern, object-oriented API for license management with the CRYPTO-BOX.

When delivering your software, note that you use and include the correct CBIOS4NET assembly according to your .NET version (.NET2, .NET4 on x86 resp. x64). Furthermore, the CBIOS4NET assemblies require the latest Microsoft VC++ redistributable packages installed on the computer.

Even if you protect .NET-based applications with our automatic protection solution "AutoCrypt", the existence of the VC++ redistributable package on the target system is required to run the protected application.

The new CBIOS4NETSetup works on the delivery and installation of these components on the target system:

• It installs/updates the required CBIOS4NET assemblies (32 and/or 64 bit version, depending on the Windows version) in the Global Assembly Cache (GAC) of the target system.
• If still not present, the VC2010 (.NET4) and VC2005 (.NET2) redistributable packages will then be installed.
